A Group of Early Iron and Brass-Inlaid Tsuba Muromachi-Edo period (late 16th-18th century) Comprising a circular iron ko-tosho plate hammered on the surface and decorated with a sukashi design of a war fan and pierced with one udenuki-ana ; an Onin-style circular iron plate hammered to a tsuchime finish and decorated with inlaid brass dots banding a ring around the web and pierced with a gourd in sukashi-bori lined with inlaid brass; a Kamakura-bori thin iron mokko plate pierced with four inome and carved on the surface with plants and waves in low relief, slightly raised rim; a Saburodayu-school circular iron mon-zukashi plate pierced with cherry blossom family crests and decorated with vines in brass zogan ; a Yoshiro-school iron four-lobed plate pierced around the seppa with a cherry blossom with brass inlays of masses of "wood splinters"; a Kyoto-school circular iron sukashi tsuba pierced with a mitsutomoe design and inlaid in brass with tattered fans 3 1/8in.
