A GROUP OF SEVEN JADE BLADES, SHANG DYNASTY (1600-1100BC) AND LATER the first of curved form, carved with raised ridges and animal mask to the lower part, the stone of grey and black tone; an opaque dark cream streaked grey and white jade blade, and further two of celadon tone, of various sizes, of similar elongated shape, carved with straight sides and very pointed end; two blades with the end slightly pointing to one side, the first of green tone, the other grey with cream clouds; and a further opaque cream white jade blade with pronounced raised central rib and straight sides -- The longest, 4½in. (11.5cm.). (7)
