having a hinged, glazed beveled top and sides with ormolu molding and carved floral rosettes with red velvet lined interior. The round tapering stop fluted legs with carved ribbon and acanthus decoration. Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 31"H x 20"W x 16"D, Circa - 1890-1900.
