Nishikide decorations with much gold, with the satsuma-mon (cross within circle) among the various patterns. Two gold elephant heads on the neck. Signed HO-DO-DA 保 土 田 within a fan-shaped reserve, flanked by the character for SATSU-MA 薩 摩, with the latter character abbreviated. The character Satsu also means “Buddha“.
