A Lacquer and Mixed-Metal Pipecase, Two Dark Wood and Mixed-Metal Pipecases, a Carved-Lacquer Pipecase, and Two Lacquered-Bamboo Pipecases Edo-Meiji period (19th century), the second signed Toko , the fifth signed Masayuki Comprising a black-lacquer pipecase applied with a silver immortal and a gold tiger, with rocks and pine trees carved in sunken relief, silver rim; a dark wood pipecase applied with Moso in a snowy bamboo grove in silver, silver rim, signature inlaid in green-lacquer reserve, silver and bamboo pipe; a wood pipecase applied with a demon with a Buddhist gong ( oni nenbutsu ) in silver, copper and gold, the moon in silver, silver rim; a carved-lacquer pipecase with phoenix in foliage, with a lacquered-leather tobacco pouch with a shakudo and gold South Sea Islander clasp, a glass gourd netsuke and stone bead ojime ; a carved-bamboo pipecase with Ebisu with a fan applied in ivory, shell and wood, gold rim, with a leather tobacco pouch with an iron clasp carved as Hotei and a stone bead ojime ; a carved bamboo pipecase with a leather tobacco pouch with a copper carp pouch clasp and a glass bead ojime , bamboo and silver pipe 8¾in.
