A LARGE GROUP OF JEWELRY AND FRAGMENTS Comprising an Antique gold huntercase pocketwatch, the engraved and chased gold case, opening to reveal a watch, of nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the white enamel dial with stylized Arabic numerals, blued-steel hands, subsidiary seconds, enhanced by an engraved gold cuvette, mounted in gold, (illustrated), circa 1895 ; a 14k gold powder compact of circular outline, opening to reveal a fitted mirror and powder well, the top enhanced by engraved intitals; a gold repoussé shield-shaped hair locket brooch, enhanced by gold beadwork trim, with five pear-shaped foil-backed amethysts, the reverse set with a glass compartment, circa 1840, (pin stem deficient) ; a brooch, centering upon a cabochon garnet, within a half-pearl surround, to the textured gold plaque, with closed back, circa 1820 ; a 14k gold buckle motif money clip; a pair of simulated mabé pearl ear clips, each within a wirework surround; an Antique gold repoussé bead; a pair of fluted 14k gold ear clips, each designed as a half-hoop; three chain fragments, two Antique, one enhanced by black enamel; two gold bangle bracelets, 2¼ ins. diameter ; two pairs of cuff links, each double-link set with a mother-of-pearl or enamel plaque, mounted in silver; a pair of old European-cut diamond trefoil motif ear hoops, mounted in gold; a woven hair necklace, suspending an enamel locket, the reverse star-set with simulated diamonds and a similarly-set moon motif, opening to reveal glass compartments, joined by a gold repoussé toggle clasp, circa 1850 ; a group of gem-set jewelry fragments; a bracelet, composed of a series of wirework and polished gold links, spaced by cultured pearls, measuring approximately 5.60 mm, 7¼ ins. ; a pair of gold fasteners, each enhanced by a sculpted gold hand, wearing a square-cut emerald ring, circa 1830 ; and a large miscellaneous group of fragments Compact signed Cartier, no. 1026; Pocketwatch signed Howard for E.
