A large Imperial silver-mounted guilloché enamel and wood presentation frame marked Fabergé, workmaster's mark of Feodor Afanassiev, St. Petersburg, 1899-1908, with scratched inventory number 2281 Shaped rectangular, on two bracket feet, the arched upper border with extended sides, the rectangular aperture with a dot and dash bezel, surrounded by a band of a translucent red enamel over a wavy ground within a laurel mount, the wooden frame applied with a rosette at each corner and the double-headed eagle in the arch above, with wooden fitted strut, marked on the mounts , containing a photograph of Empress Maria Feodorovna 16¼ in. (41.3 cm.) high
