A late 19th century Dutch silver export bowl, the circular lobed form embossed with leafy scrolls enclosing a diaper pattern, with twin scrolling handles and raised on a footed base with everted rim. Hallmarked Barnet Henry Joseph, London 1894 alongside the Foreign mark, further struck to base with the key and lion rampant export mark and earlier Dutch pseudo marks. Maximum length including handles 6.5" (16.5cm), weight 6.48 ozt (201.6 grams).
