A Meissen and German porcelain composite part monkey-band Late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Meissen figures with blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummern and incised numerals Comprising seven monkeys, in brightly-coloured eighteenth century dress, supported by tree-stumps on shaped circular scroll-moulded mound bases enriched in gilding, comprising: A Meissen drum-carrier (some damages and restoration), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 16, incised 3 A Meissen oboe-player (plume and end of instrument restuck, small chips), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 16, incised 18 A Meissen harpist (instrument and left foot restored, small chips), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 136, incised No. 20 A Meissen songstress (chip to toe of left foot), blue crossed swords and cancellation mark, incised No. 17 , probably decorated outside the factory A Meissen musician (damaged and restored with replacements and losses), blue crossed swords mark, incised T. and 6 A German porcelain oboe-player (end of instrument chipped, toes of left foot chipped), imitation blue crossed swords mark A Samson organist, seated astride another monkey (legs of organ replacements with small chips, blue star mark and incised numerals The tallest 5½ in.
