A MEISSEN ARMORIAL TWO-HANDLED BEAKER AND SAUCER painted with the Arms of Mauro d'Averso of Naples flanked by rampant lion supporters, the beaker with a continuous harbour scene with figures unloading barrels, on horseback and among boulders before buildings, the saucer with scattered indianische Blumen about the Arms and to the underside, the rims and handles enriched in gilding (slight footrim chip to beaker and minute footrim chip to saucer, rubbing to gilt handles and rims and very slight rubbing to centre of saucer), blue crossed swords marks, Dreher's ** to saucer, circa 1737
