Wood-engraved vignettes and initials throughout hand-illuminated by Emma Johnson (at The Roycrofter's Shop), including pictorial title page; frontispiece portrait of a sepia-tone photograph, with tissue-guard. 8½x5¾, original full blue soft suede, front cover lettered in gilt, silk pastedowns. No. 417 of 450 hand-numbered copies. Signed by Elbert Hubbard on the limitation page. Lot Amendments Condition: Small chips and tears to edges, light rubbing; internally clean, still a very good copy, which is often prone to wear due to binding materials. Item number: 168577
