A MOLDED ‘DRAGON’ PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE, DAOGUANG MARK AND PERIOD Katalognummer: SN0618-059 Molded and carved white porcelain with transparent glaze China Daoguang four-character script mark incised to the base and of the period, 1821-1850 One side decorated in high and deep relief with a large scaly dragon in mid-flight pursuing a flaming pearl, worked in high relief above a pierced ground of fiery clouds and more flames. Shape: Slightly bulbous rectangular shape Hollowing: Standard Mouth, neck and lip: Elongated cylindric neck with symmetrical mouth Base: Raised oval base with flattened, this foot rim Design, marks, school: Jingdezhen kilns Stopper: Agate cabochon Height of the bottle with stopper: 6 cm. Width of the mouth: 6 mm. Width of the neck: 12 mm.
