A NEAR PAIR OF GEORGE III LACQUERED-BRASS MOUNTED, GILT-COMPOSITION, EBONISED AND TULIPWOOD MINIATURE HANGING DISPLAY CABINETS CIRCA 1812 Each with pierced gallery above a pair of doors, one displaying full-length portraits of Charles, 3rd Earl of Harrington and Mrs Edwin Lascelles, later Lady Harewood, both after Sir Joshua Reynolds P.R.A., with indistinct paper label to the reverse, the other set with miniatures of children, one by John Cox Dillman Engleheart, signed and dated 1812 on the reverse and inscribed in another hand 'Lord Russell Son to Francis & Anna Maria Marquis and Marchioness of Tavistock' and in another hand 'after became 8th Duke of Bedford' 13½ in.
