The engraved geographical tables reveal, amongst other things, that London contains 210,000 fighting men, Ithaca is not one tenth part so big as the Isle of Wight, Croatians are fierce and ungovernable but are indulged in their liberty as they are a good barrier against the Turks, the land of the Amazons covers 993,600 square miles, the Persian empire under Darius covered over a twentieth of the habitable area of the globe, and Brindisi is a contemptible place.
