A pair of Charles II caved walnut armchairs, circa 1670, the pierced and foliate carved top rail centred by a putti, above the caned back flanked by barley twist supports and downswept scrolling arms, the caned seat on barley twist legs incorporating flowerhead terminals, joined by a pieced and foliate carved stretcher centred by a putti at the front, each 118cm high, 62cm wide, 55cm deep Provenance: Waystrode Manor, Kent
