A pair of Chelsea mazarine-blue-ground two-handled vases Circa 1760, gold anchor marks Of flared beaker form with elaborately pierced handles, on short stems and fixed cylindrical plinths with scroll-moulded upper rims, richly gilt with exotic birds among foliage, the plinths gilt with ribbon-tied flower swags (each vase with restoration to one handle, one vase restored through stem) 7½ in. (19 cm.) high (2)
