A PAIR OF GREEK FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS AND RAMROD, THE LATTER COMBINED WITH A CONCEALED STILETTO BLADE EARLY 19 T H CENTURY With russet barrels and locks, the locks engraved with scrollwork and cut with a brief inscription, possibly the maker's signature, full stocks almost entirely encased in panels of gilt white metal decorated throughout with characteristic designs of scrolls and beadwork cast in relief, the butts partly bound with wire, gilt metal pommels and trigger-guards, false ramrods, and retaining most of their original gilding; together with a separate all-metal ramrod suspended from a loop, the top of gilt white metal cast in relief, and with iron tubular shank containing a concealed long stiletto blade of hollow-diamond section. 21in (53.3cm) and 20 1/8in (51.1cm) (3)
