A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED WHITE MARBLE CASSOLETTES AND A PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS LATE 18TH CENTURY/EARLY 19TH CENTURY The cassolettes each with reversible cover surmounted by a berried finial above an egg-shaped body supported on three ram's-head monopodia hung with chains and on a stepped plinth, one labelled underneath 14622/15 21, the candlesticks each of athenienne form centred by a serpent and on a stepped plinth, one inscribed in pencil N o . 4 ; together with a pair of Louis XVI ormolu twin-branch candelabra, each with a fluted column surmounted by a pinecone above acanthus and issuing acanthus-cast scrolling branches The cassolettes: 10 in. (25.5 cm.) high The candlesticks: 7 ½ in. (19 cm.) high The candelabra: 8 ¼ in. (21 cm.) high; 6 ¾ in. (17.5 cm.) wide
