THE FIRST TWO MID 17TH CENTURY; THE REMAINDER 19TH CENTURY
A PAIR OF NORTH EUROPEAN IRON STIRRUPS; A PAIR OF NORTH EUROPEAN IRON ROWEL-SPURS; A PAIR OF SILVER ENCRUSTED SOUTH AMERICAN ROWEL-SPURS; AND A SINGLE SOUTH AMERICAN ROWEL-SPUR THE FIRST TWO MID 17TH CENTURY; THE REMAINDER 19TH CENTURY The stirrups of russet iron with oval treads cut with simple cusped ornament, the sides flattened towards the base and decorated with a series of piercings, and fitted with loops for suspension; The second with chiselled heel bands retaining their original clasps and buckles, and fitted with pierced rowels; The South American pair with U-shaped heel bands profusely overlaid with silver, the outer sides decorated with flowers, and fitted with silvered pointed rowels; And the single spur with fluted heel band, the rowel neck formed as a dog The first 20 cm.
