A PAIR OF NORTH EUROPEAN PARCEL-GILT COMPOSITION AND BLACK-PAINTED WOOD TWO-HANDLED URNS EARLY 19TH CENTURY Each oviform body with applied gilt bacchic masks, on square bases, painted decoration refreshed 20 in. (51 cm.) high Provenance Almost certainly supplied by John Fowler as part of an interior scheme for Joan Dennis in 1954, from whom acquired in situ by Mr and Mrs Heinz circa 1955.
