A pair of turquoise-glazed Buddhist lions Qing dynasty, 19th century each depicted recumbent, detailed with large round eyes, flaring nostrils and curly mane, covered overall in a turquoise glaze thinning to ochre around the face, the eyes picked out in aubergine-black enamels, mounted on later brass bases with inscribed numbers to the base Quantity: 2 16cm., 6 1/4 in.
