(2). Fußnoten 十八世紀 銅鎏金龍尊王佛坐像 This rare and impressive sculpture depicts the Karkota. On the reverse it is inscribed 'stobs rgyu' (སྟོབས་རྒྱུ་།) referring to Karkoṭa (one of the Eight Great Nāga). Compare with a related gilt-bronze figure of a Nāga King, probably Karkota, with serpentine body, illustrated on Himalayan Art Resources, item no.94996.
