A RARE OLIVE-GREEN-GLAZED 'CANDELABRUM' NORTHERN QI/SUI DYNASTY (550-618) The pedestal base well modeled as an inverted lotus flower with overlapping petals turning outward at their tips, surmounted by two stepped rectangular slabs supporting a faceted horizontal bar surmounted by five horizontally fluted, ovoid holders, covered overall with a thin crackle-suffused glaze of greyish-olive color pooling to sea green in the recesses and continuing over the petal tips onto the flat unglazed base with central aperture 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high
