A ROMAN BRONZE MODEL OF A THRONE, probably for a figure of Jupiter, the back with three open squares, surmounted by a moulding with half-palmettes at either corner, with ornamental legs, the two front legs decorated with two pairs of vertical scrolls divided by a mask and surmounted by a palmette, 1st Century A.D., 5in. (12.6cm.) high; a bronze stylized figure of a bird with fan-shaped tail, pierced through the body for suspension, standing above a flat vertical disc, 2in. (5.1cm.) high; and a bronze rat-tanged spear head, with central mid-rib, 8 3/8in. (21.2cm.) long, both circa 8th Century B.C. (3)
