* A Sevres Style Parcel Gilt Bisque Porcelain Jardiniere late 19th century modeled with a continuous frieze of dancing putti holding hands and entwined by a garland below a pale blue border with panels of tritons flanking a classical urn alternating with four gilt ram masks, marked with pseudo interlaced Ls on the underside, together with three smaller examples. Height of tallest 10 inches. Estimate $ 1,000-2,000 Property from the Collection of Dr. Walter Garst, Miami, Florida Provenance: Sotheby's Sale 5449 lot 4 accompanied by 1986 Sotheby's catalogue featuring a detail of this lot on the cover. Provenance: Sotheby's Sale 5449 lot 4 accompanied by 1986 Sotheby's catalogue featuring a detail of this lot on the cover. Condition: Each in good, stable, complete condition. Largest with some hairline cracks to side as mentioned in the 1986 catalogue. Otherwise without chips, cracks or repair. Some rubbing to gilt decoration. Varying degrees of dirt build up. Under U/V shows fluorescence, but likely all residue, no signs of any repairs/restorations. Additional images available upon request.
