A SHAKUDO TSUBA AND A HAMANO SCHOOL TSUBA Edo period (Late 18th early 19th Century) The oval ishimeji plate carved with a ho-o bird and ivy in kebori and katakiri bori , with nanakoji mimi , with signature oju koreo kizamu, Suiyodo Toshimasa and kao ; and the shakudo migakiji plate decorated with a scene of a dragon flying out from a screen beside an artist sitting in a temple in gold, silver and copper iroe zogan and usunikubori , signed Seiryoken Hamano Naohiro and kao 2.7/8in. (7.3cm) and 2.11/16in. (6.8cm.) respectively
