A silver-gilt tankard mark of Johann Millis, St. Petersburg, 1861 Of tapering faceted form, on spreading foot, each of the six panels engraved with foliage and strapwork borders and separated by acanthus capped columns, the hinged domed cover similarly engraved with a Bacchante finial and heart-shaped thumb-piece, marked under base and on cover flange 9 1/8 in. (23.2 cm.) high 25.8 oz. (804.8 gr.)
