A silver-mounted tortoiseshell inkstand, purse and toilet bottle maker's mark of William Comyns, the inkstand, London, 1905, the purse, London, 1910, the toilet bottle, London, 1906 The inkstand on four bracket feet and with square bottle holder with husk and rosette borders, fitted with silver and tortoiseshell mounted glass inkwell etched with ribbon-tied floral swags, applied and inlaid with husk border, drapery swags, rosettes, musical trophies; the oblong purse with fitted interior, suspension ring and chain and similarly decorated silver-mounted tortoiseshell hinged cover, the oblong toilet bottle with hinged domed cover inlaid with the initials AM, and dated Nov 6 1906, the body inlaid with rosettes, ribbon-tied husk swags and musical trophies, with husk borders, the inkstand marked on feet, bottle holder and bottle mount, the purse marked on chain and side, the toilet bottle marked on base and cover mount The inkstand 9in.
