A silver rectangular gallery inkstand by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1913, with a beaded rim to the gallery, two silver mounted clear glass cube inkwells and a pen well, on bracket feet, later presentation engraved To Moss Murray with our grateful thanks. The Associated Fashion Designers of London. April 1970, 20.5cm (8in) long, the base 408g (13.15 oz) Moss Murray joined the RAF to be trained as a pilot but ended up in RAF Public Relations. PR and journalism were his career. He worked in Fleet Street as a staff writer. His PR public relations clients included Fortnum & Mason, Harrods and the British ready-to-wear fashion industry. He promoted London Fashion Week for twelve years as well as taking the ready-to-wear-industry on government-sponsored sales missions around the world.
