PR and journalism were his career. He worked in Fleet Street as a staff writer. His PR public relations clients included Fortnum & Mason, Harrods and the British ready-to-wear fashion industry. He promoted London Fashion Week for twelve years as well as taking the ready-to-wear-industry on government-sponsored sales missions around the world.
