A TURKISH SILVER-MOUNTED DAGGER; A LARGE INDIAN KATAR; TWO INDO-PERSIAN AXES; PERSIAN BIFOCATED SPEAR-HEAD; AND AN INDIAN PATA
19TH AND 20TH CENTURY; THE LAST 18TH CENTURY
A TURKISH SILVER-MOUNTED DAGGER; A LARGE INDIAN KATAR; TWO INDO-PERSIAN AXES; PERSIAN BIFOCATED SPEAR-HEAD; AND AN INDIAN PATA 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY; THE LAST 18TH CENTURY The first with tapering single-edged blade, silver crosspiece, shaped ivory hilt inset with traditional small segmented circular inlays of contrasting horn, and in its original silver-mounted wooden scabbard decorated with further segmented inlays and complete with suspension mount; The second with broad blade boldly etched with large panels of courtly figures and a deity, and with plain iron hilt; The first axe decorated with gold koftgari flowers and further bands of gold koftgari border ornament; The second axe involving etched inscriptions on both sides of the head; And the spear-head etched at the base The first 33 cm.
