Serial no. 390 for 1861, .36 caliber. Standard configuration. Varnished walnut grips. Together with packet of information concerning serial no. 390 and it's use during the Civil War by Private Glass. (See below) This research contains a copy of Private Glass' service record and a history of the 2nd Illinois. Condition: Fair. Mottled grey metal showing considerable wear to markings and areas of pitting. Grips with numerous marks, the left side with large chips missing at forward toe and frame juncture. See Illustration
