A VERY RARE SMALL KINRANDE FACETTED DOUBLE-GOURD VASE JAIJING SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1522-1566) The main body of the vase is potted with eight facetted sides below a conforming waisted neck and upper body tapering to a high neck. It is finely decorated in iron red, green, turquoise and yellow enamels with four iron-red circular medallion on the main body, reserved on the iron-red diaper ground further embellished with gilt. The upper body is similarly decorated with four quatrefoil panels below bladed leaves around the upper neck. 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm.) high, Japanese wood box
