A VINCENNES OR SEVRES TWO-HANDLED BOTTLE-COOLER (SEAU A VERRE 'ORDINAIRE') AND A CHANTILLY KAKIEMON CUP THE SEAU CIRCA 1756, INCISED LF, THE CUP CIRCA 1735-40, IRON-RED HUNTING-HORN MARK The seau with gilt scroll-moulded handles, painted en camaïeu rose with two landscape vignettes, one depicting baskets of vegetables before a turreted building, the other with a wheelbarrow, basket and hat before a cottage and buildings in the distance, each divided by a loose bouquet, within gilt rims; the cup of tapering form, painted with two Orientals in a boat with reeds and bulrushes nearby, and with pavilions perched on an outcrop of turquoise pierced rockwork issuing pine trees, flowering shrubs and bamboo below an insect in flight The seau 4¼ in.
