1959, gouache on trimmed celluloid, the two-cel set-up depicting Briar Rose standing before the "mock prince," applied to a reproduction background. The forest animals steal the cap, cape and boots from Prince Phillip in order to create a "Mock Prince" to serve as a dancing partner to their new friend. From the memorable "Once Upon a Dream" sequence. Disney Art Editions created a limited edition from this same scene as a tribute to a key moment in Disney film history magic. To make special note, the original production animation cel image of Briar Rose offered here is the exact duplicate chosen by Disney Art Editions to represent the scene in the limited edition set-up. Both the production set-up and the limited edition set-up are offered together in this special grouping; the limited edition set-up come with Certificate of Authenticity and a Walt Disney Company seal on cel; it recreates Seq. 8, Sc 62, edition no. 45/500, matted and framed 9 x 16; image size 7 7/8 x 10 3/8in
