A WEDGWOOD CREAMWARE BOTANICAL COMPOSITE PART DESSERT-SERVICE painted in purple and lake monochromes in the manner of James Bakewell with specimen flowers including iris, cyclamen, narcissus, erytheum and convolvulous, the shell-moulded rims enriched in purple and lake, comprising two lozenge-shaped dishes (minor rim chips), two shaped slender oval dishes on three snail-shell feet (one with two rim repairs), fifteen plates (six cracked, one with star-crack to underside, all with minor rim chips), the plates painted in purple with large impressed uppercase and 4 marks, some pieces with painter's marks in purple, circa 1770
