A WORCESTER (BARR, FLIGHT & BARR) PART DESSERT-SERVICE painted in the Imari palette in underglaze-blue, pink, green, turquoise and iron-red and enriched in gilding with an exotic bird in flight among stylised prunus and chrysanthemum issuing from rockwork and a fence, and with a pagoda and a bridge, the iron-red border gilt with berried foliage and reserved with shaped panels reserved with flowerheads and foliage on a gilt ground, the rims gilt, comprising: A pair of ice-pails with richly gilt satyr's mask handles, covers with gilt artichoke finials and liners A pair of two-handled sauce-tureens, covers and stands (one cover repaired and with associated chips, one stand cracked) A shaped oval two-handled dish (rim chip) Four shaped square dishes Five shaped oval dishes (one repaired and with related chips) Four shell dishes Eight plates (one with slight rim chip) (some rubbing to gilt rims), script marks, some pieces with incised marks and two shell dishes with impressed Flight, Barr & Barr marks, circa 1815
