Ackermann [1808-1810] [text watermarked 1806-1807; plates watermarked 1806-1809] 3 volumes, 4° (355 x 280mm.), half-titles, 3 wood-engraved titles, 3 engraved dedications and 104 fine hand-coloured aquatint plates by Bluck, Stadler and others after Rowlandson and Pugin (one text leaf torn and neatly repaired). Full crimson morocco gilt, uncut, by Sangorski and Sutcliffe FINE UNCUT COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION. Early issue with pre-publication watermarks, all the errata uncorrected and 4 plates of Abbey and Tooley's list in the first state. Unusually clean and free from all but the most minor offsetting.
