After Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) A Magnificent and Rare Collection of fine mezzotints and engravings, mounted in fifteen elaborate albums, the majority of the mezzotints by J. Dean, W. Dickinson, S.G. & J.G. Facius, E. Fisher, V. Green, J. Grozer, C.H. Hodges, J. Jones, J. McArdell, R. Purcell, S.W. Reynolds, J. R. Smith and J. Watson the stipple engravings by F. Bartolozzi mezzotints and engravings, some printed in colours, the latter half of the eighteenth-century, superb to good impressions, many fine proofs and early states, most with wide margins, occasional discolouration, other minor defects, generally in very good condition, the majority taped at one sheet edge to the support sheets, in leather boards with the artist's name impressed in gilt and decorative tooling, within buff board and cloth wrappers, the Portraits contained in seven large albums and six small albums, the Subjects in one small and one large album(15 albums) Large Albums: overall S. 810 x 640mm. Small Albums: overall S. 580 x 490mm.
