AFTER THE ANTIQUE, AN ENGLISH CAST BRONZE HEAD OF EROS AFTER THE SOMMER FOUNDRY, 20TH CENTURY The reverse stamped with foundry mark MORRIS SINGER FONDERS LONDON, inscribed to cast SOMMER NAPOLI, mounted on a polished black marble base 41cm high overall, bronze 30.5cm high, base 13cm wide Condition Report: Wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Some paler patination to raised sections- otherwise generally good condition. Weight approx 10-15kg. Please see additional images for visual references to condition which form part of this condition report. All lots are available for inspection and Condition Reports are available on request. However, all lots are of an age and type which means that they may not be in perfect condition and should be viewed by prospective bidders; please refer to Condition 6 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers.
