(exlibris) Third edition of the second English translation of Agrippa's De Incertitudine et Vanitate Scientiarum published in Antwerp in 1530. The work was first translated into English in 1569, followed by this 17th-century translation in 1676, 1684, and 1694. Agrippa, a magician, theologian, astrologer, and alchemist to Charles the Fifth, Emperour of Germany, infused his work with Hermetic and Kabbalistic motifs. Wing A792
