Spectacular views of Egypt by the French photographer Felix Bonfils, based in Beirut, including photographs of the Sphinx; the pyramids of Cairo; Cairo street scenes; interiors and exteriors of mosques, etc. In Italy, a striking depiction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa; the Basilica of St. Peter; interior shots of the Vatican; the Arch of Constantine; the Forum; Naples, with Vesuvius erupting; etc. The photographs of the Nice carnival show the parades, floats, and other activities.
