Opened from one side the album comprise 25 landscape scenes of various unidentified Japanese villages, rural scenes, temples, etc. a few feature buildings with western style architecture, one shows the American flag flying above a harbor with numerous sailing vessels on the water; from the other end the album features 25 images of Geisha, many of the photos with two or more women, one partially nude. A few of the views have notations in the negative in Japanese. Lot Amendments Condition: Spine perished, original album covering no longer present, boards and a few leaves detached from each end; very good. Item number: 261350
