From the Niger to The Nile, volume 1 (of 2) only, 1st edition, 1907, numerous black and white illustrations including frontispiece with tissue guard and 2 replaced endpapers, some light spotting, original gilt-decorated red cloth, boards slightly rubbed, spine faded and rubbed to head and foot, 4to, together with MacKinder (H.J.), The Rhine, its Valley & History, 1908, 60 coloured illustrations including frontispiece with tissue guard and 2 folding maps, contemporary inscription to front endpaper, some light spotting, original gilt-decorated red cloth, spine faded with minor tears to head and foot, and Wright (Thomas), The History and Topography of the County of Essex, illustrated by a Series of Views, volumes 1 & 2, 1836, numerous black and white illustrations including frontispiece map of the county in volume 1, some spotting throughout, ex-libris with associated marks, contemporary red cloth, boards and spines rubbed with some loss to head and foot, 4to, plus other 19th/early 20th-century topographical and historical reference and related, many original cloth, some leather bindings, 8vo/4to.
