An 1805 pattern Warrant Officers' sword, formally the property of Captain James Eaton the straight cut-and-thrust blade with a broad groove throughout length (rusted) , brass stirrup hilt engraved with a foul anchor, stepped grip bound with shark skin and wire, smooth brass pommel and back plate and remains of scabbard [top eight inches]; together with original woven sword belt and gilt brass lions head buckles, the sword -- 33in.
