AN ASSEMBLED VICTORIAN/EDWARD VII/GEORGE V SILVER-GILT CONDIMENT SERVICE Maker's mark of Hunt & Roskell Ltd., London, 1866, 1893, and 1912; the two-handled cup maker's mark of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater, London, 1903 Comprising six salts on ram's feet headed by ram-head joins, the body repouss and chased with laurel leaves, six salt spoons with beaded edges, a sugar sifter with sun-flower motif in bowl and foliage on stem, two nut-crackers cast on handle with drape-clad classical female figures and paired putti above, two grape scissors, the handle cast as scrolling grapevine, a tall caster on spreading circular base with ovolo, the waisted baluster body applied with ram's heads and scrolls at intervals on shoulder, with leaf-capped side handles, the pierced domed cover surmounted by a pointed finial, with wood stand, and a two handled cup repouss and chased with thistles on a spot-hammered surface, with two upswept scroll handles, each piece engraved with initials LD , fitted in original case, each piece marked The case 19in.
