The obverse with a pursuit scene involving a youthful hunter, perhaps the hero Theseus, and a young woman, the youth running to the left, with long wavy hair, nude but for a chlamys, a petasos suspended over his shoulders, wearing high laced boots, holding a spear in his lowered left hand, his right arm extending forward, the woman moving left but turning back, with long tresses falling onto her shoulders, wearing a peplos, her arms extending out; the reverse with a standing draped youth holding a phiale; a band of ovolo encircling below 7 1/8 in.
