The body with flat chased decoration of a running dog, a bird, and a goat among foliate scrolls against a textured ground. The lid with flat chased swags of laurel leaves centred with a rosette. Maker mark only underneath, with an incuse running dog above (?), each piece additionally marked with French provincial guarantee marks for second standard (1809-19). Diameter – 3.8 cm / 1.5 inches Weight – 31 grams / 1 ozt
