An Earthenware Ewer Meiji Period (Late 19th Century), Blue Enamel Mark Satsuma Yaki Hododa Zo Moulded with two dragons forming the spout and handle and decorated on the body with sprays of chrysanthemums in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze, the foot painted with a ring of stands of chrysanthemums, the rim and edge of the cover with bands of floral lappets, the finial moulded as a coiled reptile 76in.
