An Edwardian Platinum, Natural Pearl and Diamond Pendant, Black Starr & Frost, containing one round button pearl measuring approximately 8.61 mm in diameter and numerous old mine and round single cut diamonds, suspended from a separate but contemporary platinum, gold and seed pearl necklace with textured pendant loop and gather containing numerous old mine cut diamonds joined with a later 14 karat white gold spring ring clasp, the necklace and pendant containing diamonds weighing approximately 1.07 carats total. Stamp: B.S.&F. Hand inscribed: 50596. Accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America pearl identification certificate number 1172354147, dated October 27, 2015, stating Natural Pearl, Environment: Freshwater, Mollusk: Unio species, Treatment: No indications of treatment, Shape: Button, Bodycolor: White. 9.20 dwts. Estimate $ 12,000-18,000 Valid 12/4/15 The necklace is fully intact, all stones and pearls present and securely set. The diamonds and pearls show no appreciable wear at 10X magnification.
