AN EGYPTIAN GREEN GLAZED COMPOSITION FRAGMENTARY THOTH AMULET LATE PERIOD, CIRCA 7TH-6TH CENTURY B.C. The upper part of the ibis-headed deity, wearing a tripartite wig and collar, with back pillar, mounted, 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high; a group of Egyptian glazed composition amulets and shabtis including the upper part of a cream Ptaichos amulet, a scarab on his head, and the upper part of an inscribed back pillar; a turquoise amulet of Bes standing with hands on hips; a dark blue openwork plaque of four striding deities, 2 in. (5 cm.) high max.; two turquoise shabtis, 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high max., all 8th-4th Century B.C.; and a group of Egyptian and later bronzes including an Oxyrhynchos fish, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) long; a seated figure of Isis and Horus, 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high, both 6th-4th Century B.C.; a Romano-Egyptian figure of Harpocrates sitting on a lotus flower, 2½ in.
